Shane
Anyone else suffering today? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15154020 We have lost services all over the place and its causing a real headache, luckily it seems to have only affected the smaller users on our network. I know this stuff happens, but BT are just so terrible at times like this.

SupraStar 3000
BT stands for Bullard Tossers! My verdict is, they are ALL totally incompetent . Its a miracle the internet is working for me to post this,................... MOD EDIT: Please don't swear, for swearing's sake.
Shane
Ha ha, yes I know and agree, they are a shambolic lot. They do have some good people working for them though, but most of them are unable to provide any real assistance as their line managers are buffoons. Sadly I have to deal with them on a day to day basis as part of my job, they are a complete nightmare. I have just recieved a letter from them dated "September 11" introducing me to my dedicated business Account Manager, who incidentally has been for the past 18 months and who also sent out an email in August telling us he was moving on and would no longer be our Account Manager. He was crap anyhow! BT stands for Bullard Tossers! My verdict is, they are ALL totally incompetent . Its a miracle the internet is working for me to post this,................... TubbyTwo
we seems to get a new account manager every month. Im on the phone to them at the moment as our lines are still off. Its now changed to "we have detected a fault at your exchange and will need to pass this over to an open reach engineer" FFS.
Shane
Most of our lines I have moved now to a re-seller/provider which is noce as we have a good SLA on all the ISDN and important lines. At the end of the day you are still reliant on BT/Openreach for service, but the nice thing is the provider does all the chasing and they also have the possibility of escalating the fault report. I have one fault report open at the moment for a dead DEL which is one of the few I have left with BT and its been open now since 13th of Sept. When I log on to the fault tracking it says "Sorry we need more time" It obviously hasn't been updated as it says they hope to have the problems rectified by 1300hrs, 26th of Sept. If you would like me to give you details of the provider that we use then PM me and I will pass it on. I can recommend them for important lines where you need a good level of service, the people I work for are demanding to say the least and dont want to understand that you are relying on someone else to provide a service and these guys are the best we have found so far at getting BT/Openreach moving. TubbyTwo
once our lines are sorted im moving the whole lot to another company, doing away with BT for as much as we can. Then just waiting on the contracts to run out on the ISDN lines and they will go as well. useless company....
