getting eManage Ultimate Ignition Error codes :(

Finally wired up the connections for the Ignition Control of the EMU and since then i get the following errors a short period after starting the car:

65419:0441-0005[incorrect 1CH ignition input signal]

65420:0442-0004[incorrect 2CH ignition input signal]

65421:0443-0006[incorrect 3CH ignition input signal]

65422:0444-0001[incorrect 4CH ignition input signal]

65423:0445-0003[incorrect 5CH ignition input signal]

65424:0446-0002[incorrect 6CH ignition input signal]

As far as i can see i wired everything correctly following the instrucions of the EMU Manual and confirming with the Jspec pin outs you can download here.

Car is running fine no missfire or something else just those codes.

Car is a 1996 TT Jspec 6Spd. What could be the cause of the errors?

Thanks :)

Yep. Forgot to mention i've run the emanage for several weeks now without the Ignition wires connected so software should be set up fine.

EDIT: Just to add I'm not 100% sure about the jumper settings so it would be really nice if someone could post the right ones for a JSPEC TT. Thanks :)

Little update:

Tried changing JP8 and nothing changed with the Errors. Today i swapped over channels 1 and 5 on the EMU(Input and Output together) and the Error codes now showing are the following:

65502:0441-0003[incorrect 1CH ignition input signal]

65503:0442-0004[incorrect 2CH ignition input signal]

65504:0443-0006[incorrect 3CH ignition input signal]

65505:0445-0001[incorrect 5CH ignition input signal]

65506:0446-0002[incorrect 6CH ignition input signal]

Channel 4 disappeared and now i'm assuming that the problem is the firing order. I'll swap some more channels today or tomorrow and will update here :)

Ok like i thought it had to do with the wiring. Either i missunderstood the manual or it's not described as it should but the right wiring of the ignition shouldn't be coil 1 on channel 1 but like this:

EMU 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6

Coil 1 - 5 - 3 - 6 - 2 - 4

As you can see it's according to the firing order :)

One last thing remains that bothers me. The Launch Control doesn't act as i expect it to. It's more of an up and down of the revs in a 1 second rhythm than popping and banging like i saw it on videos. Could this be because i'm running JP8 on 2-3 instead of 1-2 or something else?

JP8 should indeed be on 2-3. This will only show up once you get past a certain boost level, for me it was about 0.7bar - with 5v ignition set it misfired like crazy as the spark was too weak.

I fell for the ignition wiring gaffe as well, on the E-Manage Blue when I first fitted it :) bizarrely, it'd retard the ignition just fine still (I had it wired up as you did, cylinder -> wire) but wigged out when I tried advancing it.

The launch control doesn't work on the Supra, I've tried a few times to get it going and gave up in the end, it just freaks out.
