scoooby slayer
i had a single misfire at 6500 rpm after refitting my clutch so changed my plugs and coils for ngk 9s and superspark and the issue was solved, but ive since realised i had a bad earth to the battery so although i had 14.1 at the body i only had 12.7 volts at the battery. ive also had to up the fuel pressure to compensate for a voltage drop im getting once the car is warm. basically it seems the electrical issues made it so my spark system was struggling due to lower voltage whereas the new stuff has coped better when at lower voltage, im 99% sure if i had sorted the voltage drop and bad earths it would of cured my misfire. all spark plugs look mint and i didnt notice any damage on the coilpacks. i dont actually think theres anything wrong with them so there here for sale at £250 the lot delivered in the uk. i can add some pics if requested tommorrow when i go to the workshop. ive just spent £600 replaceing this little lot so its a bargain imo. Scott
You might struggle mate, unless the spark plugs are worth a fortune. Good known coil packs generally go for about £60-£70 per set 2nd hand.
