Really stuck on this one, during the rebuild I extended the engine loom and relocated the engine bay fuse box everything else works car starts, lights work etc indicators work but the 4 way hazard button doesn't work. I have checked both fuses one in drivers side and the one in the main fuse box they are fine the switch must be okay as if I indicate then switch on the hazard it stops the indicator but nothing happens any ideas ?

I had the same problem after a full respray, for some reason the hazards stopped working.

I got in an auto electrician who was very good, he traced it to a fault in the loom in the depths of the car, broken wire or something. As it wasn't practical to strip the whole car he ran a fused live from the drivers' side footwell fuse box direct to the hazard switch. You wouldn't know it was there and it does the job.

I presume you've checked the cable is connected on the back of the dash panel?

Yes lol , sorted now I run a fused 12v wire to the red/white cable on the back of the plug now it works ,now ive just got to figure out the horns as they dont work either it seems the power from the 15amp fuse in the main fuse box that is haz/horn the cable is either damaged in the loom or I have missed a plug somewhere but I am not up for having the loom all out again

Well done, decent enough fix without the hassle :)
