slick Posted July 20, 2005 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Puma racing site has some interesting tech dyno information on it that follows similar ideas to those exressed here, although doesn't like the 25% losses figure or using a fixed percentage. They use for RWD cars which they say is the most accurate they know of is "add 10 bhp to the wheel figure and divide the result by 0.88" to allow for the fact that a higher output car will loose a lower 'percentage' in losses compared to a low power car.
