Notts_TT
What's the best way in your opinion when it comes to smoothing a kit and over fenders into the body, would u just use fibreglass resin or would you fibreglass matt it ??? Im thinking of smoothing my kit in and getting it as close as I can and then taking it to my body shop to get the filler perfect, then they can primer it as I'm wrapping it in vinyl. Thanks Dan
Dnk
Just get your bodyshop to do it
marcAB10
Your going to wrap a supra in vinyl that's only in primer?....
Notts_TT
I own a vehicle wrapping company mate, and I've done this many time, it's not viable on all vinyls but works great using cv3 technology which the 85 series 3m vinyl has. jim
If you're wrapping the car, could the gaps between the kit and body not just be 'disguised' by the vinyl? Smoothed in looks lovely but it's a heart-breaker if you hit a bump or take a knock, makes it much more expensive to repair.
Notts_TT
You could but if you have any floating vinyl which isn't adhered to a surface that is bridging a gap and you hit a bump in freezing weather it will just shatter / crack, maybe I could just use tiger seal to semi smooth in over fenders and trial rear?? What do u guys think ? Thanks
