Stevo
I'm still happy with the 17th. This is the restaurant that Mark is referring to where he knows the owner. We should opt for one of their mid-range banquet options I reckon (menus are on there). http://www.landmarkoriental.co.uk/index.asp?textpage=home Give them a call tonight Ben/Mark and see if they have any tables free on the 17th Dec as a start. Sus out the situation with deposits too please. Ta
Guest ugp
Already phoned them and asked. Times available are 18:30 or 19:00, tables available for 10-15 seats. They require a £10 deposit, I can sort that. Will upload the menus to here in a minute...

Stevo
Nice one Ben. Perhaps it might be easier though if we can just get everyone to sign up to one of the set banquet menus at a fixed price? Selection here: http://www.landmarkoriental.co.uk/index.asp?textpage=specialoccassions Saturday 17th December 2011 - 19:00 1. Hodge 2. Stevo - Pagoda Banquet (£24.80) 3. qwarrior 4. ugp 5. 6. Stevo
That's why I thought a banquet would be good - we all get a bit of everything on the big spinny table Obviously we all need to be happy to go with the same choice of banquet though (hence me stating my preference). The Pagoda one seems quite varied, isn't too expensive and there is far less quibbling over the bill this way as everyone owes the same as far as food is concerned. Money could even be paid up before we sit down to eat.

qwarrior
I'm happy with Pagoda too. Seems quite resonable. Sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to Andrew there, but it looks like you have it in hand Ben. Have you PM'd the other usual suspects? Guest ugp
Right, all booked up for the 17th at 19:30. The time has been changed by .30 due to the footy game, this was the earliest slot I could get. I've booked for 10, however this can be increased upto a max of 15 nearer the time if need be. Stevo
Nice one Jonny. So do you need deposits from us Ben then - when do you need them and when do you need to confirm menu choices by?
Guest ugp
No deposits needed, however I have booked the table in my name, so people had better turn up! As for menu choices, if we could all agree on something before the night, that would be excellent. Do people still want just one big order dumped in the middle or separate dishes (or saucers if that takes your fancy)!
