Hi all,

I want some good coilovers & i want them to handle my futur BPU++

The OEM ones are old (even if 98) & where i live i need something better.

I firts looked at the tanabe sustec pro 5 + Teas system

But i do not Know if it s That good (same price as D2)

I found some buddyclub racing spec damper : looks great but never Heard of it!

What else....? Tein, greddy , Hks ?

Budget is 2000US$

Advice needed please :)

ihad the tenebe sutecs and i hated them. couldnt get them off fast enough. they wer harsh but with bad rebound. and they bottomed out on themselves in longe high speed corners. i hated them

what do you wnat from the suspension and what are your uses for the car . this will help the gurus advise you on the best way to go

Thanks for this information as i really was thinking of the tanabe !

I want coilovers with ride height adjustements....

I use the car only on week end or on street racing (legal) but we drive on hills, lots of corners, the Riad isn t always perfect.

I Will do drag racing too on the local championnship !

So polyvalent coilovers is needed :)

Anyone used the buddyclub ?

My best selling coil over by far are the BC Racing. I've never heard anything bad said about them, never had a warranty claim, they offer a wide range of adjustment from being soft to hard and they are height adjustable to. See here http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-supra-suspension-parts-coil-overs-springs-racing-p-4889.html

Any questions just ask

Thanks

Paul

I do not want to change my coilovers when i'll have More then 700hp.

How about corrosion ? As i live on an carribean Island, humidity is higher then 75% all year long.

Paul,

I've heard the HSD coilovers you also sell are very good for the Supra. Though a little more expensive than the BC Racing ones, do they offer any advantages ?

Thanks

They are good value as well although I have no personal experience with them, again I've never heard anything bad about them, just good comments.

Paul uses Niton coilovers in his car.

Very nice but very expensive. Check out his website for specs and prices.

With reards to Tein and corrosion. I have a set of mono flex on my car which are at least 5 years old. They work perfectly fine with no signs of corrosion. I know they use to have issues but that was some years ago and I believe it's now a bit of an urban legend.

If it were me I would go for the HSD, but I think the BC coilovers are superb value for money.
