Guest chopperpaulc
All these parts are new and unused. However they have been test fitted and there may be some marks from this process. All the part were supplied by http://www.driftmotion.com. The clutch is an ACT 6240607 6 puck race item for 1986-1992 TOYOTA SUPRA. 1986-1992 TOYOTA SUPRA ALL ALL ALL ALL From 4/86 Production Date w/ 1JZGTE Swap 1991-1996 TOYOTA SOARER JZZ30 L6 2.5 1JZGTE 1986-1992 TOYOTA SUPRA BASE L6 3.0 7MGTE From 4/86 Thru 8/92 Production Date The flywheel is an aluminium EVOLUTION item with a steel friction surface and ring gear. This is a DRIFTMOTION part and is suitable for both 1JZ and 2JZ. Item Description 1JZ Lightweight 11.5lb Flywheel for R154. This is the first (and the best) lightweight aluminum 1jz flywheel on the market in the US! The quality of these is second to none, yet the price is very reasonable for such a high quality piece. You can expect the engine to rev faster, and less rotating mass will allow the car to accellerate faster. The slotted friction surface is a patented feature, along with the locking ring included to keep from ever having flywheel bolts come loose and back out. The friction surface and steel starter ring are hardened. The aluminum used for this flywheel is FORGED, which increases strength and straightness. We highly recommend purchasing the Action stage 3 or Stage 4 clutch kit we sell to go with this flywheel, along with the lightweight 3" one piece aluminum driveshaft. This flywheel is used for an R154 transmission on a 1JZ or 2JZ engine, and is used with a 1JZ-GTE or 7M-GTE type clutch kit. £675 inc delivery to anywhere in th UK or Ireland. PM me or feel free to call me at work on 02892621822. Ask for Paul. I was using these with a R154 gear box and a W58 bell housing. Both of these I will also be advertising. Supra_4_Real
Can you tell me how heavy the clutch is compared to the standard item, also can you slip the clutch at all for a soft pull away or is it the on on or off type. Im looking for a clutch that can take BPU ++ but still be usable on the street, Im currently running a double sprung clutch with an R154 that is a nighmare in traffic so anything softer will be ideal
Guest chopperpaulc
I never got to use the cluch, i was told the sprung unit is quite good to drive with. My friend has a 4 pad version in his MR2 and its heavier than standard but nice in use. Paul
