Ibrar Jabbar
I have been working on a low level boot spoiler that mounts using the exsisting OEM fixing points. This is ideal for those who wish to remove the OEM / TRD spoilers and not have to weld up or fit bungs to cover up the holes. Thoughts, opinions any interest before I get moulds made up? GRP Ridox style available soon. Edited September 27, 2011 by Ibrar Jabbar (see edit history)
TheTurtleshead
Ridox style with the ends extended? Lovely looking thing either way mate!
sammytruck
Looks ok from the side but not right from the rear IMO...to me a Supra needs a spoiler, good luck with project anyway.
TheTurtleshead
Maybe, if I had to criticise, I would say that the rear corners might benefit from being a bit rounder, as opposed to the squared off look. And also its maybe a bit long in a fore-aft kinda sense. :S
hodge
I like it a lot.

jim
I've been waiting to see what it looked like, any idea what sort of money are we talking yet Ibrar? And any plans for a carbon version too? If you're open to suggestions and I had to be critical, would it be possible to extend the sides to blend in with the line of the arches/shoulders of the back of the car, to finish at the edge of the hatch? Blackie
And any plans for a carbon version too? Ive been thinking about this. I was thinking about getting that smart carbon wrap and getting a bodyshop to do about ten coats of laqur (sp) over the top, That would work? Failing that just spray it black

Not worked out the costings yet, but will be reasonable. Maybe a group buy if there is enough interest? will look into extending the sides to fit level with the hatch, this way I can acheive the rounded corners Turtleshed mentioned

jim
Cool I like it a lot as it is bud, if it's not possible to extend it I'm still in for one too. Your wheels are magic!
AndrewOW
Would it be possible to have another couple of photos as viewed from front to back at an angle as though you're looking at the spoiler from the driver's door, etc., and also one top down directly over it too, please? That's a stunning car, by the way.
evinX
Reminds me of the spoilers on old celicas
The Raven
I like it, I was just saying to abz about your car needing a low level spoiler to set it off. Looks the nuts. \From my point of view I would like it more if i could fit it along with my TRD.
marcAB10
I like it too.. I do prefer the ridox only as I'd say it is more of a 'lip' and this is still more of a spoiler but nevertheless it's a great idea, especially as it incorporates the original spoiler holes. marcAB10
\From my point of view I would like it more if i could fit it along with my TRD. But if you wanted that, surely you'd just get the ridox? Or is it because once the ridox is on it's not removable?
Dnk
You already know my opinon your car looked better and cleaner without it, it will work on other cars but not yours, it just looks like you didnt know when to step away from the painting. Its finished now cosmetically so just get the single turbo lump in it and give it a wash
The Raven
But if you wanted that, surely you'd just get the ridox? Or is it because once the ridox is on it's not removable? I just wanted a cheaper FRP lip spoiler that would work with my trd.
