a98pmalcolm
Anyone know if there is an aero wiper conversion for the supra? New wiper arms, wiper blades the whole kit? Not just aero wiper style that goes on the standard arm that you can get from Halfords! Did it on my Corrado. Was a great upgrade.. Thanks Paul
spikedjack
depends if a car has the same arm/blade length as the supra i guess, aero blades dont just have one fitting you see, there are many many types unlike the conventional hook type fitting used on regular blades... i'd probably just use the retrofit sort if it were me
hodge
What's an aero wiper
spikedjack
One of those hodge, they wipe much cleaner than conventional blades due to higher contact areas, and look more modern
Guigsy
You don't mere a whole different wiper arm. It's just a blade design. Fitting a different arm would be pointles. I use them they are great. I've got some from the states with rainx impregnated rubber
Lee_e
They look good and work great untill I go over 70mph.. then they get weird and dont wipe certain parts of the windscreen and it goes all glitchy.
a98pmalcolm
The reason for me wanting to change is, yes its modern and wipes well but more importantly loads of paint is flaking off and my wiper arms look dead awful, and also on arm wont hook and clip in a wiper properly.. Maybe if the arm fittings are the same as a Lexus IS200 or something.. Edited September 22, 2011 by a98pmalcolm (see edit history)
Abz
I am not sure about replacement arm but like Guigsy I just brought the aero wipers which replace the whole blade so it looks much more modern & actually wipes quite good too. If the paint is flaking off then it would be best to repaint the arm? Or replace if you mean it's faulty.

I have Aero blades on mine, the spring on the drivers arm has lost a bit of tension though so I think I'll need to replace the lot of it soon. Noz
I also have Aero blades on mine. I want to be like Scott. Im not nearly as cool though. The one thing I'll say, is some of them have BIG ass connectors. The clip on each blade is mooo'sive compared to a typical blade. I'll take a photo later. Not 100% if all are like this though, maybe uber-cool Scott would take a photo of his
Guigsy
The arm is easy enough to take off. Just one bolt.
a98pmalcolm
Looks like i may just replace the oem arms for oem again as the wipers dont click in properly. i'll do the rear one at the same time. I think u and scott should hook up noz lol
