Had my aircon regassed about a month ago all working perfect. Went out today and it doesnt get cold. The pump kicks in, the revs pick up but no cold air.

Have done the test as decsribed in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=58&highlight=aircon+test

and it comes up with the face light. Which means " Room Temp. Sensor circuit".

What does this mean?

Look in the yellow pages for an independent air con specialist, better if someone local can recommend one.

Tell them when they turn up the fault code showing, show them a print out from info off this site as they might not be familiar with the Supra.

The reason you might not be getting much response is down to the fact that air con problems are normally down to compressor/condensor or low gas.

I can't remember seeing anything electrical with regards to air con other than the compressor clutch mechanism.

Sorry, don't know where the sensor is. With some things on cars like this it's best to get a specialist in tell them the problem, let them sort it, test it yourself and only then pay them. If they don't sort it then let them sing for their money

Hi

this is my first post on this forum :)

I've got an FTO that had exactly the same problem, 99% of the time if it's not the gas either running out or leaking out somewhere, then it's the compressor. That's what was wrong with my system.
