marc_p
Ok, I know people are really going to be getting annoyed with these posts now but I keep on bringing new cars into the 'new daily' car ideas and I value peoples opinions on here as we obviously have a similar taste in cars, just to mention again though, this is not to replace the Aero, just the N/A Auto daily. So has anyone hear had any experiance with the new 370z's? I have been going through loads of reviews and the only negatives they seem to have against them is that there is a lot of road noise and visability is rubbish(both of which, I'm already used to) The only car they seem to compare it to in reviews is the Cayman and they do seem to prefer the Cayman but whereas the 370z can be had new with the GT pack and some nice options for just a smidge over £31k, the Cayman is around £45k with the same spec list as the 370z(even floormats are an option:blink: ) so not a very fair review in my opinion. Havard
Marc, you seem obsessed with throwing a stupid amount of money at a depreciating asset. Save your money and get something second hand. Even one at 12 months old will be 20% less.
Ricky49
Nice choice look better than the 350z

Yup, although I have a soft spot for black cars We have a 350z for sale, Cheap Prefer the look of the 370's tbh, plus the throttle blip is a cool gimmick. Marc, you seem obsessed with throwing a stupid amount of money at a depreciating asset. Save your money and get something second hand. Even one at 12 months old will be 20% less. Oh no, I just used new prices as an example, I'd be looking at something a year old more than likely. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3171056.htm Nice, but only really like hard tops There are cars that will depreciate even faster, keep looking, you must try harder I did laugh at that http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z95/bembridgematt/DSC_0904.jpg Ok, I may retract my earlier 350's not as nice statement:)
marc_p
This is my problem I can't make up my mind what so ever, it's always changing, so the shortlist currently looks like this: - 370z - 350z - E46 M3 - Evo X - Integra DC5 - Honda S2000 As you can see I'm a bit all over the place, not intending to get anything until February time so the list probably won't look anything like the above by then. Rajinder
We have the 370 and cannot praise the car enough. The road noise is very much dependant on the tyres you have. Build quality is the best in the price range. The interior is great and the visibilty is not that bad either. Our was brand new came with the GT pack and anniversary edition. We will know about the depreciation next year when we trade it in for a GTR.
Abz
To be totally honest dude as a daily driver you don't want to be spending too much, the amount of money you would save from getting something older & cheaper could save you easily enough to go single turbo on the aero. The reason why I say that is, the car will be getting used almost daily, wear & tear, mileage, odd dent here & there from other careless drivers on the road will have a massive effect on resale value come a few years. Get this, so you get a comfy ride into work & save the rest on going single turbo http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?255142-Mercedes-CLK-320-AMG-Kit-Low-Mileage-49k&highlight=Amg

Gaz6002
The 370Z is OK, but it's not a big enough step-up from the 350Z to make it worthwhile IMO. Also, the Cayman is in a different league... NSX is a nice suggestion if you want exclusivity and good residuals. Especially since Honda announced last week it'll build another one. grahamc
I got a 370z as a courtesy car for a day when my GTR went in for a service. Please keep in mind that I am comparing this to my GTR so my comments may sound a little harsh. Engine seemed pokey - compared to GTR Auto box was ok - compared to GTR Paddle shift was quite good Nice sound A little small inside - compared to GTR Lack of rear seat and boot is a bit annoying Overall I thought it was a nice car (but I have been spoilt by the GTR). Goes well and easy to drive. Handled quite well especially in the wet.
k9l3
370 is lovely car if you like 2 seats otherwise the e46 is stunning car in convertible and if you want fast and good on fuel get the 330d convertible be more reliable then m3. as said above the cayman over the 370z
jonathanc
Considering a 370z myself and the rare NISMO version does look nice. However (in my opinion) the interior is horrible and feels cheaps. Only tempted at its nice 3.7 V6 engine and nice sound it makes compared to my TTS... however, heard a B7 RS4 on Millteks and thats another story! Quattro, nice V8 soundtrack...too bad its stuck in a saloon body or I won't even think twice!

marc_p
OK change of plan again(I said this would happen) budget dropped to no more than 10k, I want to spend more on the Supra now as I have found my old list on my perfect Supra I wrote up 3 years ago and I'm actually halfway there . I guess it's going to be 350z, S2000 or DC5 Integra Type R (or wild card put a V8 and manual box in the N/A). (tommorow it will have changed again though)
