Branners
First thing to do is probably to try and find the original wheels. The handling on the MR2 is pretty good as standard, but big blingly wheels can make it handle pretty badly.

Scott
I'm not really following his post. What opening speech and why is he thanking someone? Is it practice for an award or something? Anyway, awesome purchase there. I wouldn't go any bigger than 17s on the MR2 and be careful how much traction you go for on the rear as they will understeer like a female dog if you don't get the balance right. Oversteer isn't too much of an issue just don't push your luck on the limit. Set up properly there is very little that will handle like an MR2, they bite VERY hard though so get a proper feel for her. If you're interested I have a set of 17" Advan Super Racing II (Silly light wheels) in a perfect MR2 staggered fitment

Heyrick
Great buy there - good idea to share too, makes it much more worthwhile having a track only car.
AlexM
You could compete in the Toyota Sprint Series with that..
Jamesy
Nice purchase mate If you dont mind id love to know what you have planned for t, as i too have a uk spec MR2 rev3 n/a and was interested in using it as a track car. What races can you compete in? and what mods can you make to the car? Mine is modified a fair bit already so would like some advice when you can.... if you check my "started threads" you can see my MR2 if you wanted to see current spec as dont want to clutter your thread
TubbyTwo
For track stick some stock wheels on there, those alloys look the same width all round. Stock are 195 fronts, 225 rears. Get some decent rubber, stock discs, braided lines and some decent pads like carbotechs, a decent service and make sure the cooling system is up to scratch, if its the original rad check it. Aside from that have fun, they make decent little track cars, just dont try and change the steering mid corner The NAs are great on track but you wont see massive performance gains from any engine mods sadly. I would stick to the stock airbox then just exhaust and Decat and keep the maintenance up! My rev 3 NA I spent loads on various engine bits, air filters etc and it went from 174ish HP to 178hp, didnt really notice any difference other than the noise.
