dude
I no longer use Precision as they have the WORST back up I have ever experienced, you have zero chance of a warranty claim and a rebuild can take many months.
Hellstrom
i love borgwarner aka Schwitzer turbos. verry durable and verry effective and imo @ a good price. . but if you really want a Precission turbo i would buy it from USA. dude
Boostlogic sell precision but compared to Comp they are a joke IMO
Paul Whiffin
Bullseye Power/Borg Warner turbos, superb build quality and if they go wrong very easy to get parts. Havent had any failures at all yet though.
magictorch
I waited ages for my Precision turbo from the states and then it was the wrong one!! As above, the B/W turbos are getting some good results
Pred
which b/w ball bearing turbo should i use for~600-650hp?
Paul Whiffin
which b/w ball bearing turbo should i use for~600-650hp? I would highly recommend the Bullseye Power S362 Batmowheel billet turbo. This will make 650bhp easily.

Paul Whiffin
is the s362 turbo a ball bearing turbo? No, all Borg Warner turbos are journal bearing. We use the S366 in Steve Lintons race Supra along with Mike Ward in his Time Attack Supra and I'm using the S383 in my own car at the moment, all good. Let me know if you need a price. Noz
you use the s362 in your NA-T set up as well Paul dont you? If this turbo is good for 600bhp, would a smaller turbo be better for an NA-T set up? Only asking as I need to start looking to order one. With the NA having a high compression ratio lag isn't really an issue so it's a pretty good setup. And there isn't really much smaller in T4 either, you would need to drop to a T3. dude
Lee of SRD can sort you out a Precision and offers great after sales help. You cant offer any help if Precision don't want to sell you an exhaust turbine for example, CR's have been trying for 6 months to buy one for me for over 6 months, they also kept me waiting for almost 3 months for my 76 DBB when they told me they were in stock. Everytime I have called with a damaged ex wheel they just say you may as well buy a new turbo !!!

AET Turbos have the same problem, they cant buy the parts for them, when they go wrong, I dont know why so many people use them!
JamieP
Thing is they are proven the best, most the fastest supras in the world run Precison turbos, like for like size other turbos just never seem to match the spool time or power they make, new batmowheel stuff seems to be catching up though and are good value. On a side note AET rebuilt my Precision Billet 6765R for me, now on Jamesys car. How long did it take though, wasn't it a few months or something?
black_widow87
Mine was re-built by AET but it did take them a while. I expected much better customer service, there communication skills were shocking!
JamieP
They was quick with the 6765, iirc they could not get any parts for the 7675, The new CEA turbos im running seem a lot more reliable than the old units, i never read of failures anymore.
