Soopra
My Supra is currently in the naughty corner because it's decided it doesn't want it's under tray and I need to go and remove the remains in a bit Should I replace it?
imi
I would. Keeps the underside of the engine clean and if there is an oil leak it is easier to spot.
Ricky49
I also would keeps the air from escaping under the car and where it needs to go. Through the intercooler (if your's has a turbo)
Havard
Get a replacement. I ran my NA for the last 12 months without an under tray and I was surprised how dirty the engine got. Mr T wanted it there so it should stay. Just like the rear spoiler..!! H.
tbourner
Mine decided it wanted to scoop some air up on the motorway, started rubbing on the ground (scared the bejesus out of me). I took it off and drove for a year ish without one. Didn't notice any problems.
Kirk
Mr T wanted it there so it should stay. Just like the rear spoiler..!! Technically speaking that was an option
mwilkinson
They are £250+ from Mr T. If it needs replacing I would get an Ali one from SRD. If you read the Toyota literature the air ducting through the engine bay generates some of it's downforce at speed!! Probably nominal, but, people do love to say if Toyota spent time on it then it's worth keeping.......
tkddav3
mine has seen better days too, sagging a little so but i think its gonna be a winter job for meeeee

Kirk
On a side note when mine decided to fall off on the M1 I didnt like the idea of not having one plus the wind noise when it let go was horrendous so I 'ghetto' modded mine and surprisingly its still fine now despite crashing the car through a hedge backwards http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/254093_10150274479972214_584057213_9224777_3688335_n.jpg http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/251664_10150274480517214_584057213_9224781_6785136_n.jpg

4packet
I wouldn't be too worried about it. Took mine off nearly 6 years ago and prefer the benefit of being able to inspect things on a regular basis or at the roadside.
Dnk
Mine decided it wanted to scoop some air up on the motorway, started rubbing on the ground (scared the bejesus out of me) Its fun when that happens isn't it Mine went on the M5 on the way to Japfest last year, i have my own aluminium one on there now. letmeshowyou
personally I'd look to replace it. aside from engine dirt and the downforce thing, I think it makes a marginal difference to fuel economy too. The SRD metal one looks good IMO, and a bargain compared to the price Mr. T want!
Suprab1
Never had one & wouldn't be bothered getting one. Never heard of any car troubles from not having one.
Lude
mine sagged & had seen better days, i remvoed it, my engine seems clean, and had no heating issues etc. i prefer it off, as when working on the car its easier (if underneath) easier to access parts, and i like to go underneath my car quiet often to check everythings ok under there (nothing leaking, nothing hangin off etc)
Blackie
Mine went saggy and kept bellying out so i removed it, That was about six years ago
