Guest crustofeson1
Hi. When turning especially to the left I have a knocking noise and when I get to full lock its a single loud clunk or bang. Initially I thought it was the steering rack but have been told by many garages that its not any ideas?

If not start with the simple stuff, wheel nuts, wheel bearing sub frame bolts etc Also check for a brake caliper seizing Edited September 12, 2011 by Dnk (see edit history)

Guest crustofeson1
By the looks of it, it has the original shocks on it. Garages have said that the shocks are fine, I will b replacing them at some point. Coils are fine.
Guest crustofeson1
I think I remember seeing on here somewhere that someone Mentioned the engine mounts as a possible cause. Does any one know the best way to check them?
