JamieP
Need a coilover adjust tool. After a google search it seems i can get away with a very long (200mm odd) allen key, anyone got one they can measure for me?
Chris Wilson
Pretty sure they are 3 mm. I use a T handle Allen key, or you can buy 3 mm hex bar in metre lengths, and cut to suit
JamieP
Thanks Chris, did you try moving mine?
Scott
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hexagon-Hex-Allen-Key-3mm-Long-Series-UNIOR-/130555461860?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item1e65b640e4 You will probably get away with that mate. I very much doubt it'll be 200mm, was it possibly someone over exagerating the size? The T-bar allen keys are generally 100 - 150mm, I think anything bigger is very much a special order. Chris Wilson
All your adjusters are free and set full soft from memory. I just used a fairly normal T handled key, I doubt it was 200 mm long. Whatever you do **DO NOT** force them beyond full soft or full hard, it's *REALLY* easy to damage the valve, be very gentle with them!!!
JamieP
Excellent.
JamieP
It is 3mm and a long Allen fits, Lee has just been out in the car and reported it drives very well on the hks coilovers, thanks Chris. Also the clutch seems to be fixed, looks like it was an hydraulic issue.
