hodge
I've currently got a B&M short shifter in the car. After the car has been used for a while it goes very tight. Not an issue to go into gear but when in neutral when I push it over to the side it doesn't return back to centre. It doesn't make the car harder to drive at all just I don't like it. Now it's mapped I want to dork all the little issues that annoy me, this being 1 of them. Is this a common issue with a B&M short shifter, and if so can someone recommend me a good quality one. Thanks John

Iky
Might just need re-greasing im guessing? Spray some lube down into it and see if it loosens up.

marc_p
Just try applying more grease onto the ball part it pivots on, through manhandling at the manufacturers end and at your end whilst fitting it, chances are a lot of the original grease has been wiped away.
