Scott
As above really. I would rather coat parts than wrap them, for aesthetics, but I don't want to do both. Cheers
JamieP
Both will do the same job but Zircotec looks better and will last longer.
Scott
Any idea on the longevity Jamie? I know that the wrap will need replaced at least every other year, but the costs of the coating is very high if it isn't a permanent solution. JamieP
Time will be the test but mine has been fine this season with many dyno runs and about 4000 road miles
Scott
Hmm, think I'll shoot them a quote request. I might just run wrap for this year, as I can't see me having the money spare, but it'll be a nice option for the future. Have you gotten rid of all the wrapping? Manifold, db & screamer done? Is your exhaust housing done too? Do you use a blanket? Cheers mate
JamieP
I dont have any wrapping, everything apart from the turbo is coated, no blanket, just a small cover to protect the bonnet.
Scott
Cheers mate. I've just sent a request so I will see what they come back with. I've included the turbine housing so I think I might be in for a shock lol.
Chris Wilson
It's really good stuff, but the prep before coating has to be 100%. Needless to say it's pretty expensive.
