Bailey.
As Scott came up with a ludacrus idea here's mine, running two independent turbo setups on a supra, say a 67mm for the road and normal driving and a a 80mm plus for drag use, all on switchable maps and solenoid valves. I know space would be an issue and quite costly to, but surely worth a crack. Here's my amazing art work, but I'm sure you get the idea!! Scott
Stop bundling me into your insanity trip The design could also be massively improved

JustGav
Way overly complicated pipe work really.... look at the amount of pipework in the compound boost setup.....then try cram it in into the engine bay
Scott
I reckon I could do it. Would need a shedload of money to make my bespoke parts though. The manifold would need massively modified.
Josh
Imagine running them both as a twin parallel setup
JamieP
Seem like a lot of agro when it only takes an hour or two to change the turbo.
Scott
Imagine running them both as a twin parallel setup You can't, they need to be the same size.
Bailey.
Seem like a lot of agro when it only takes an hour or two to change the turbo. True, true but if your not mechanically minded something like changing a turbo can be an issue.
Scott
Seem like a lot of agro when it only takes an hour or two to change the turbo. Definitely, it's a fun* exercise though. *depends how bored you are.
Scott
True, true but if your not mechanically minded something like changing a turbo can be an issue. 4 nuts, a vband, couple of oil lines, a pressure line and a jubilee clip. Piece of wee.

You are worried about changing a turbo, yet considering a setup like this?

Bailey.
You are worried about changing a turbo, yet considering a setup like this? After doing my single build last winter i think i can manage swapping a turbo over, JUST, but im not considering it, im done with mine for the minute, just thought it was an idea and wondered if it had been done. I know, I know... I'm quite the artist. Isn't my scale just fantastic lol. Scott
Just a couple of things to note. You would NEED to have 5" intercooler piping and a 5" exhaust system
Noz
about about 3 turbos... would be easier to design... boosting at the same time not in sequence :-)

tbourner
What about 6 little turbos, one for each cylinder. You could have 6 individual inlet and exhaust manifolds.
