blossom
I had a problem with eggs in my tyres and replaced them with new tyres from my tyres same profile as my old tyres. So tonight went to my local fitting station and the tyres have folded in and they can’t get the tyre off the wheel, so I’ve come home without my car. Has anyone heard of this happening before? Thanks for any help Caroline
Ibrar Jabbar
Get them to re-inflate the tyres and take them somewhere else, they obviously don't know what they are doing. What wheels do you have? as they may be reverse mount.
blossom
they can't get the tyre off the wheel, all i know is i have OZ Rear - 285/35/
Ibrar Jabbar
They are more than likely going to be reverse mount meaning they need to be removed from the rear side of the wheel. Do you know how they are trying to remove them? I would seriously be taking them elsewhere.

Scott
Probably going off topic but is that you in the profile pic??? Yes. I don't think Blossom has contributed to a thread where someone hasn't asked that
dr_jekyll
omg, get your car back and dont go there again. the tyre has folded? i fit tyres all day every day and thats nonsence . possible a revers beaded wheel and if that is the case and they arnt aware of it they shoudnt be touching your wheels
Scott
no i dont, they are a really good fitting station aswell, really dont know what to do or were i stand with this I know it doesn't help, but clearly they aren't. It would be better to get them to re-inflate the tyre and take the car somewhere else.

The trouble is you cant inflate them or get them off, i had a place do it with my wheels and we had a right game getting the tyre off the rim. dr_jekyll
sounds like they have pressed the bead back on the non ressesd side of the wheel to me. go to them tomorrow tell them to try flip the wheel over , clapm out to in ( with platic clamp guards) add lube and try it that way. iv never had a tyre that i couldt get off . you have some that are a bit tight or stiff walled but that sounds a bit pants too me
