Driftworks is the place, theres a couple on there at the mo. Not full conversions just the boxes.

Thanks I've actually looked on driftworks, though all I found were mk3 supra boxes.

Have you seen any soarer boxes or an mk3 box with the correct bellhousing? If so can you pm or post the link.

Thanks

And therein lies the problem dude, I managed to find a Chaser box, has the same remote shifter as the Soarer box but had to get my own bell housing. You can go to Toyota (about 400 quid) or look on eBay and get a Malaysian copy for about 200 plus post. Or go to DriftMotion in the States.

TZJ engineering will import you one but youre looking at over a grand. Then you need clutch, fork, master and slave cylinders, pedal etc etc etc.

Thanks for the reply have you used tjz? as I was close to getting one supplied and fitted by them however I had second thoughts after blackies thread. They also never replied to my last email.

How hard the labour involved in changing a w58 to a r154?

If using the mk3 you will need a shifter extension (120), bellhousing (200 ebay), front part of the mk3 prop, w58 gearbox mount, speedo converter (cable > elec £80). Doing the swap isnt that hard really, if you've got ramps and a workshop that is :)

Thanks for the reply sorry to be annoying but do you have links to all the parts you mentioned other than the box itself.

How hard is it to make the prop and do you use any of the w58 prop?

Thanks again

w58 box has a different bolt pattern. also the w58 prop is too short. i'm not even sure about using the rear end of the manual prop, my conversion was done with na auto rear, mk3 front.

hope this helps, sorry for the lack of capitals, the shift button on my phones phecked.
