as above my ABS light and the centre warning triangle ("!") are constantly on.

when i start my car it should go out but they stay on... the brakes work fine, i just need to fit in an MOT soon.

would it have anything to do with my hell braided brakelines? or the fact i have a GReddy piggy back ecu?

any help greatly appreciated! :D

yep checked the brake resivour&abs, levels are fine....maybe it needs a service???

just done the abs fault code thingy. and i got 32 & 35

Code 32 - On/Off/On

Malfunction of left front wheel speed sensor signal. Check

speed sensor, sensor rotor, wiring harness, and connector.

Code 35 - On/Off/On

Open in left front wheel or right rear speed sensor circuit.

Check speed sensor, sensor rotor, wiring harness, and connector.

would this be wiring? or could it just be dirty sensor front left?

the light has gone off a few times for a short amount of time before...i had my engine and gearbox out for the NA-T build a few weeks ago& thats when the light came on perminantly.

and does anybody have a picture of the sensor? so i can locate it please

It will be the LHS one bud. I get mine on intermittently due to stretching the cable a little when I was taking off the suspension for the first time.

If you take the wheel off you will see a wire coming down from the engine bay, it will come in past the mudguard flap thing and is mounted onto the inner wheel well. From there it snakes along the wishbone and into your hub. This is the ABS speed sensor :)

It may, if you are very lucky, be the connector between the moulded sensor wire to the engine bay loom that's playing up, but it's unlikely. Measure the resistance of the sensor at the sensor plug, disconnected from the main loom. If it's infinity the sensor or moulded on bit of wire to it is knackered. If you have a good auto electrician handy he can check the sensor output on the road, with an oscilloscope.

Was going to have a go at this today... But forgot I'd moved alot of my tools including my jack& axle stands to my parents as I may working out in Germany soon... :( but just an update, the abs light and triangle went off yesterday for about 20 miles of dual carriage way...is this normal of a broken circuit or faulty sensor???any ideas what this could mean?

When mine does it, it won't reset until I turn the ignition off. It's only when it's pulled slightly that the light comes on, as soon as I reset the ignition it turns off. I've not had the same fault that you do where it goes on and off during the 1 ignition cycle.

Or via Keron £35 posted ;) ha ha :D

Just ordered one so hopefully if it's not a bad connection it's a faulty sensor :)

Thanks again guys! Really appreciate the input, sorry for the late reply.
