Handbrake warning light keeps coming on

Hey, recently everytime i boot it and hit high rpms or shift into another gear my handbrake light comes on plus the triangle one. I thought it was throwing codes up but checked and all clear. I have had a bee r rev limiter on the car for a couple of years and its hooked upto the handbrake for launch control. Recently when i start the car in the morning the light stays on for about a mile and then goes off but intermittently comes on when going round corners... ground issue?

Any help appreciated :)

brake fluid level low?

:yeahthat:

Very common issue, if the brake fluid is just slightly below the level you'll get the warning light illuminate when accelerating or braking. Make sure the fluid is at or slightly above the level.

If your brake fluid level has dropped check the pad wear.

I've got the same problem but it's not the brake fluid level..

It comes on at exactly 50mph and doesn't go out until I turn the engine off

I've found that if I accelerate hard from 40mph to 60mph it doesn't come on but as soon as I drop to 50mph it comes on again

Anyone got any ideas please ?

i have similar issue, you can do a check on the standard diagnostics, but i havent got round to it yet. think its an issue with the speed sensor/mph converter ?
