Markie
Carlos, what colour blue was yours mate? And do they look like the blue light dash conversion colour when in the dark? Cheers..

I'd say they probably do look like that blue. I'm not sure which blue it is though - I went for the one that Pete said most of the Supra owners go for. Chiefgroover
Carlos did you needle turn pink? mine did !, so I ended up with sky blue and pink needles, fortunately I have a replacement set now cause they sent me jap spec so i can go a proper electric blue colour with the new ones. I'll post a pic when they are done :-) Glad you got them finished, bet if you knew they were half as much hassle you wouldnt have started lol !. Aerotop Dave
Carlos, on that night photo I think you've got the same problem as me - do you have some variability in the even-ness of the glow? On the rev counter for example the bottom left and right corners are brighter than the top (where 4000rpm is)? I have this problem and was wondering what to do about it. Edit - you can see it clearly on the speedo actually - look at how bright 20mph is compared to the rest.
carl0s
yeah my needles are kind of very bright neon-y now and I love it. I definately have the same problem of uneven brightness but I'm not too bothered. There is a problem with the 180mph -> 220mph area, and this seems mainly to be caused by the fact that there is nothing behind the blue-stuff. The speedo doesn't have any plastic in that area. It would probably be beneficial to cut a circle out of thin clear plastic or something, and adhere the blue stuff to that so that the backing is hard like the OEM dials.
