Hassan
Hi everyone, I want to ask if a Precision 6262 with a .58 A/R is going to be ok to make about 550 bhp (with supporting mods)? Or is the A/R too small? Ive allready got the turbo and a tubi manifold so would like to use it.

Hassan
Are you running stock or aftermarket cams? And what if i was to use aftermarket cams? Could i make more power?
Paul Whiffin
And what if i was to use aftermarket cams? Could i make more power? Definately yes, normally about 30-40bhp gains.
Hassan
great so i should be able to get near 600bhp mark then with supporting mods?
JamieP
Thats a very small .ar, I reckon that will surge on a 3.0L. Good thing is that they are not much money, id put a bigger one on it now rather than paying for mapping twice and going to the agro of changing. Hassan
Yeah thats what i thought it was too small. So what turbo would you recommened? Ive got a auto so only wana go 600bhp max. But i want super fast spool for street driving.
JamieP
Turbo is fine, id just fit a bigger .ar, last one i bought was a few years back now but was only something like $150.
Hassan
Something like this http://www.spracingonline.com/store/Precision_62mm_T4_Divided_Turbine_Housing/3712
JamieP
No, thats a divided housing, could work if you have a divided manifold, divided housings you need a bigger number again as the divide reduces the volume.
