Guest horny_devil
i'd say get a poor condition glass headlights with good glass but poor paint and mix n match the glass with ur facelifts!
skippyboyo1
haha oh my god nothings straight forward! so im best to get black internals with the 3 chrome rings and fit them to my uk glass headlights then by the sound of things! Scott
I doubt it will be as simple as just switching over the internals as they are quite a bit different. The facelifts don't have a sidelight for a start. The easiest option is to facelift your glass headlights by spraying the innards while masking up the rings. The only difference is you won't have a ring on the main beam so you will only have 2 rings rather than 3. They come up fine though... http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/Supra/Glass%20Angel%20Eyes/DSCF1905.JPG http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/Supra/Glass%20Angel%20Eyes/DSCF1907.JPG
skippyboyo1
nice one buddy, christ i thought this was simple! i can paint mine which ive looked into however i wanted 3 chrome rings insted of just the 2 we both have. So let me get this right....if you want 3 chrome rings (ie face lift) you will have to have a plastic lense but if you want glass headlights you cant have the facelift (3 chrome rings) you need to paint them like you have done. am i correct? skippyboyo1
Exactly. The only thing I don't know is if the facelift US spec lights are glass or not. ive sent a msg to jamie aka the man that can! he has them fitted and i was sure they were glass for some reason. i can live without my side lights but i assume there are other differences then? skippyboyo1
Jamies are plastic.god dam it! i cant justify going back to plastic...............wheres that rattle can

They definitely aren't glass... they don't exist There will be differences in the mounting I would guess. Not 100% sure to be honest. You could give it a go but it'll be expensive to get a set of facelifts just to try it
skippyboyo1
cheers for the info scott mate,im not loosing glass just to get facelifts so time to get spraying. i was confused looking at your pics as to why you had sprayed over the sidelight dome housing and ive just realised you have angel eyes so dont use the standard sidelights
