SamuraiFlash
I would go for the Blitz BOV as it comes with an SUS filter.
Nic
The UK Supra uses a MAF sensor, not a good idea to fit a vent to atmosphere BOV as it will screw up the fueling. If you do fit an aftermarket BOV then you will need to recirculate it, HKS do a recirculation kit for the SSQV BOV. http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=
Swampy442
As Nic said. Plus BOV are for chavs in Subaru's

keener
Does the j-spec use the same sensor? I've got an HKS SSQV (venting to atmosphere) on mine - is that a problem then?
Noz
I would go for the Blitz BOV as it comes with an SUS filter. what is the advantage to this?
jackso11
As Nic said. Plus BOV are for chavs in Subaru's All supras have a BOV No BOV is different from any other one when you are running stock turbos

Scott
All supras have a BOV No BOV is different from any other one when you are running stock turbos Of course they are, every vent to atmos BOV sounds different
Nic
Does the j-spec use the same sensor? I've got an HKS SSQV (venting to atmosphere) on mine - is that a problem then? No the J-spec Supra uses a MAP sensor which is not effected by a vent to atmosphere BOV.

Noz
Dual Drive Blitz BOV mate http://www.alamomotorsports.com/blitz/BlowoffDD3.jpg http://www.alamomotorsports.com/blitz/BlowoffDD5.jpg
Nic
Dual Drive Blitz BOV mate Can't see the point of a the filter, all it will do is catch any vented oil vapour
Kirk
Filter or not it makes no difference. External BOV on a stock twins is unnecessary.
Scott
Filter or not it makes no difference. External BOV on a stock twins is unnecessary. Unnecessary on all variants of turbo though as it can always be recirculated regardless of tubby choice

Noz
Can't see the point of a the filter, all it will do is catch any vented oil vapour different noise i expect. i mean, the different fitments for the super sound are just for different noises aren't they, cant imagine there would much difference in performance?? a98pmalcolm
I have a HKS one. Sounds nice and does the job.. Another advantage with the HKS ones is there a pull piston rather than a push piston so there is absolutely no chance of boost loss... keener
No the J-spec Supra uses a MAP sensor which is not effected by a vent to atmosphere BOV. Thanks for that Nic. :-)
