Passenger side driveshaft for a manual tt - Big diff kind

I'm running standard TT drive shalfs from a small diff, on a large case diff . no problem at all. If I can remember the L/h side is 10mm smaller then the r/h . As you can see from my vids I do give the car stick, and on the drag strip, and if it was a problem it would have shown up by now.

I think the left and right shafts are quite a bit different in length on mine, more like 10 cm's than mm!

na ones a lot of the time have a thinner shaft compared to the tt version...ive come across this a lot on them so worth checking...

 

 

Yup. you were right.

The shaft diameter is narrower than the Uk spec ones. Infact the na ones are 26.5mm as to my uk spec ones at 29mm I've taken the boot off one end to see how it works but I cant see any way of swapping the end casing over -which was what I was hoping for! Not sure where to go next on this... :help:
