Finally found a car for Jen, hopefully she will keep this one for a bit

Nice car, I have had one for a year and can honestly say it has been great. At this minute in time I can't justify having a hugely expensive car to run so I think this ticks all the boxes for me, it's practical, looks great inside and out, sounds good, and is fairly nippy and not too thirsty. I average about 28mpg but that is with alot of vtec action. They do get some bad press largely thanks to JC which I think is hugely unjustified. Anyway here's mine :)

I really like the look of that. Very nice.

I don't think JCs comments are unjustified. These Civics are very nice but not upto the dynamic standards of the old one (drive them back to back, and it's obvious) had the previous Civic not been so good then the review would have been great.

The only problems I ever find with these Civics (as with all modern Hondas) is that the dashboard/centre console plastics are garbage! If you ever need to remove any trim, be extremely careful as the plastics are very brittle and Mark very easily. If you ever need to replace the stereo, get a pro to do it! :D

Otherwise, the interiors are lovely, and the dash looks fantastic

Yep! That's the reason why I don't look at my centre console in case it cracks! :D

The FN2 v EP3 debate could go on forever, both cars are very similarly matched. Maybe the extra weight of the FN2 does slightly dent the performance as some people say, however my experiences suggest otherwise. Both are decent cars but neither are going to set the world alight with their performance. The thing that really let the FN2 down was the fact that it didn't come with a LSD as standard. The championship White, mugen 200 editions and some of the last built cars all had the diff fitted and these cars showed vastly improved lap times. However on the road most drivers are never going to exploit the differences between the two cars and it will largely come down to the driver as to which car is fastest. All in my opinion of course ;)

The FN2 wins hands down when it comes to interior and exterior looks and gadgets though :)

Jen's getting excited about picking it up on Sunday now

She got a little gift from me today, that she didn't know I had ordered and she is over the moon with it, if only it was always so cheap to please her:D

For Jen this car is about the colour and the general look, including the interior and I managed to get someting with a bit of power in on her choice;)

Mate it is a stunning car, Jen's gonna love it.

Infact I bet you'd be ragging it around! :D

Yeah it is a very nice motor, I was very impressed when I got to drive it for a few seconds on the test drive before Jen wanted in on the drivers seat

I am not sure I will be getting much chance to drive it for a fair while to be honest, Jen has said I can drive it from Bournmouth to Hythe as she doesn't know the roads, but she has already said she is driving it all the way home from my Mum's in Hythe

Might be quicker than his mobility Supra :D

Least it's not PINK:p

I'm sure she is going to love it :D

I hope so, I really don't want to be looking for something else for a while, it's such hard work looking for a car for Jen:taped:

I love the FN2's. I have one just like the red one except mine is the Sat Nav version and has the 19inch Rage alloys. Lovely cars, very fast off the mark and a huge boot space which you wouldn't expect from a car of it's size.

Yep the boot is cavernous :D and the Rages look sweet :)

I am not sure about the Rage rims and to be honest with it being for Jen to drive around in, I don't think we need to make the ride any harsher.

Just spoken to the Sales Garage and it's not in for MOT until this afternoon, so hope it passes, as it doesn't give them any time to sort any issues before tomorrow. Apparently Honda looked over it during the Service and think everything is fine for the MOT, it's not 4 years old until November so fingers crossed

Just got Jen's new toy home and really surprised what a nice drive it is, I can see why some people would say the ride is a bit harsh, but it's not that bad, certainly in the same area as the Supra

The drive is quite fun for such a heavy car and redlining the V-Tec sounds lurrrvly, I even got Jen to take it into the high Rev area a few times and it put a smile on her face

By the time we were nearly home she was getting a bit more confident and pulling away at the roundabouts quite quickly, for her anyway

For those with a sharp eye, there's a little peak of my newly shaped sideskirt as well
