staples230uk
This is not a question for size etc, have read the FAQ thread, moreover what bulbs do you guys recommend? Only just noticed that one has blown now that the nights are starting to draw in. Thanks in advance!

Iky
How about a HID kit? Cost will probably be similar to a pair of decent bulbs.

Was toying with HIDs but I think they are now MOT fails, plus can't be bothered swapping them over every year lol. Thanks johnny will give them a whirl! Si_s Supe
HIDs for the win!! It's all bull about HIDs failing an MOT! I've fitted them to all my past cars and NEVER been picked up on by a tester!! In fact, I've just fitted a set to my Supra and took it straight to my MOT station specifically to get the beam patterns checked...spot bollock perfect!! Go for 4300k. Best light output without being blinding to others. You'll need HB3 bulbs then slightly modify the 'ears' on the holder. I can massively recommend Lightec Autostyle. So, so helpful. http://www.lightec-autostyle.co.uk/9005-xenon-bulb-conversion-headlight-p-79.html

Thanks johnny will give them a whirl! From what I've seen/read they are a fail on cars without "projector" style headlamps like Supra's.

Guigsy
The supra has projector lenses... So not a fail... Your also techicly supposed to have washer jets. But never seen them failed if they don't. I'd had hids on my last 2 supras and they are great you will be surprised at the difference
Iky
I have 6000K on my dipped and fogs and think they are perfect. I've never really needed to use the fogs though.
Si_s Supe
They TECHNICALLY should have projectors, auto levellers and washers but I have never ever heard of a tester that's failed a car for not having the afore mentioned. As long as beam patterns are good, they'll pass. Fitting wise, could not be easier! It's all plug and play, no wiring required!! I've fitted at least 15 kits so am pretty experienced and have tried several different suppliers and Lightec wins hands down on both quality and service. If anyone gets stuck with fitting HIDs, just PM me and I'll give you my number to call me. Likewise, anyone local to me is more than welcome to pop round for a helping hand.
