mwilkinson
Yes its another group buy by me. I have just bought a DASH2 from a company called Rallytechnology. I approached them about offering discounts to the club and they are able to offer Race Technology products at a discount of 20% approx over RRP (Will vary on quantity and product). Let me know what your interested in and I will see what I can do. Data recorders, ECU connectors, DASH2 etc.... As an example I got my DASH2, brand new and under full warranty for £480 inc VAT. All payments will be made via paypal straight to the company. Again this has been cleared with the mods. gjp
How easy are these to fit and do you need anything else?
mwilkinson
How easy are these to fit and do you need anything else? I assume your talking about the DASH2 mate? If you are from what I have seen it all depends on how you want to mount it. If you want like Jamiep has then you will need like me to find someone to custom make a panel to fit the original binnacle. Otherwise it can be mounted sitting in front. If you like I will post up some picture of the unit tomorrow?

mwilkinson
Sorry I ment into the cars ecu to gain all the information. My bad mate. You can either wire it into the stock loom using a supplied connector (stock ecu), or if you have an aftermarket ECU you can buy an interface cable. I can get hold of these too with discount. This is what I am going to do as I will have a Syvecs ECU.

imi
I can see it and it does look the nut's. Did you fit it, and if you did how easy is it? Thanks, the DASH2 is a great piece of kit however you do need to get a few sensors & probes in order to make full use of its capabilities. Certainly fruitful if you was to get rid of 1 zillion gauged up cockpit. Will the sensors that I wanted the DASH2 cost me about 1K. LeeP got it done for me - I believe Ryan wired it up - I left it to them two. Will get some better pic and post them up over the weekend. imi
mwilkinson
Just been looking at the manual, it states that it has four sets of analogue inputs for use with stock sensors. Starbuck
I'm thinking of getting a Syvecs in the coming year, I saw in a recent post that there is a touch screen display, I take it this is a different one. I may be interested however will need to find out more about it. It looks quite small, is there only one size/model? I'll look it up.

Yes this is different to the the Syvecs touch screen prototype that Ryan posted about recently. There will be a link up on the front page in a second for the main website. The unit is quite small but it can fit neatly into the space of the stock dials with a bit of fabrication. I have no idea where you could subtlety mount the touch screen Syvecs display. It's all going to be a matter of personal choice. Have a look at the website mate as there is plenty of detail there.

gjp
I'm interested in this if we can get a group buy together at good price. It doesn't sound to difficult to wire in just time consuming, and as I have some temp and pressure sensors on my engine I can wire it into them. This will plug straight into my stock ecu? I can get the Dash2 for £480 inc postage which is a saving of £120 over RRP. This will not connect to the stock ECU. There are four analogue connectors on the wiring harness for connection and calibration for stock sensor inputs. If you want one I will put your name onthe list. If we get more interest naturally the price will fall further.

With a Syvecs you can buy a cable and the dash will do a whole lot more. We all have addled brain moments Did you notice there is also a group buy for Syvecs too
