Rob_Mitchell
Right i have to choose one or the other and need help as i ove both combinations. 1) keep the do-luck bonnet and sell TRD strutbrace 2) Sell do-luck bonnet and keep strutbrace and have stock bonnet. cant keep both as it will take the stengh out the bonnet if i cut it. pics are without brace
Mistermann
keep the bonnet and do away with the brace...that engine bay looks too good to have the brace over it! my humble opinion of course

Rob_Mitchell
keep the bonnet and do away with the brace...that engine bay looks too good to have the brace over it! my humble opinion of course im thinking exactly the same as i love the bonnet but i also love the trd brace ha ha
evinX
Keep the bonnet, the strut will be a bar across all the hard work imo and the do luck bonnet sets the exterior of, i wouldnt loose the bonnet for the brace, the engine is nice enough! Gaz6002
Keep the brace. Why do you need a posh bonnet when the real news is underneath it?
Noz
thats serious mint as it is. i love the trd but ur miss the bonnet. unless there is another bonnet you could go for? im assuming the trd brace is chromed?
Rob_Mitchell
Keep the brace. Why do you need a posh bonnet when the real news is underneath it? well the built in vent system is a work of art on the bonnet, i know what you mean though
Dnk
Keep the brace and go with a stock bonnet
Gaz6002
well the built in vent system is a work of art on the bonnet, i know what you mean though Laser-cut stainless steel plates on the underside of the bonnet in awesome shapes, then cut vents into the OEM bonnet? It'll be much more unique then too.

Rob_Mitchell
i cant decide now. mixed comments which is good but also bad ha ha. i think im going to ditch the brace
Scott
I would go with the bonnet option as its rare as hell. I would rather have both though. Just fyi, you are missing the strut spreader washer things from your bay. I wouldnt leave those out as they act like spreader plates and the strut mount is very thin on its own. chazuk
Hard choice mate , I guess a strut would cover your engine a bit which would be ashame so I say without
DodgyRog
Chrome plate the Strut top washer things and see then, but I would go with the bonnet all day long, that amazing engine doesn't need the brace over it I take it you are going to have chrome plates on the underside of your bonnet as well to act as mirrors:diablo:
MONKEYmark
what an amazing engine bay that paint looks amazing.was it engine out job to get it painted.looks like you have relocated lots of parts for mimimal look.paint looks so shiny
hodge
Just mod the bonnet mate. It's a fiberglass so if the worst happens and you hit something it's going to make no difference what so ever if the bonnets been modded or not it's going to explode. a98pmalcolm
For the sake of cleanness etc.. Keep the brace.. OR find another bonnet you like
Willson
Looks MUCH cleaner without the brace. Why put something in the way of that engine?!* *Speaking purely of aesthetics edit number 2: by the way, I had reservations about the amount of work that went into the engine bling, but that looks fantastic! Andrew K
I personally like it without the strut brace!
