Steve W
Can anyone verify if the parts for my Jap' are the same as the UK [Don't see why they should be different, but thought I'd double check] ie:- 1) Timing-Belt, 2) Alternator Belt, 3) Tensioner Pulley, 4) Tensioner (may not need ? ?), and, as it's the best time to do it..... 5) Water Pump. I've bought the UK-type T-Belt/Pulley/W-Pump already (can return) [readily available] just don't want to get halfway through job and . . . . . . . . . mazman
i really cant see it being different unless they changed the pulley size ect.. mines jap spec and timing belt is: toyota original and part number" 13568" with 143 teeth so if youve got the same amount of teeth or part no,you should be ok at least with the belt. That part number doesn't even appear on my CDs (JDM or UK). Sorry for the mis-information. Supra Pilot: Here's the parts list for the teming belt tensioner bits, as I have them. Steve W
The Tensioner we took off was EXACTLY the same size and shape as the new 'updated' one ? ! Either it's different INSIDE (settings etc ?) OR Toyotas just love altering part numbers (I know Fords and Vauxhalls DO, we get it all the time !) FatS.
