So i decided to get my mk4 up to scratch and delimit it, so i bought this senor on ebay and wired it in. Now everyone i've chatted to many tuners which all told me Oh its going to need soldering to the ecu and blah blah blah :p So like i said i fitted this senor behind the dash and it works perfectly. So before the sensor was fitted the Supra was fitted with an Apexi RSM which read kph so what the dash was reading the RSM was reading cos they were both reading KPH.

But now they read totally different, as if i had KM/H & MPH on my dash its brilliant. the company give brilliant description of what to do. Real easy to do. Here is the link if anyone is interested in doing it!

When you say behind the dash, do you mean to the speedo cluster and spiliced that to the speedo signal from the ODO area?

If so, you are feeding the "wrong" signal to the other ECU's which handle the active spoiler and power steering. It works and I have had that running for years but got tired of the spoiler going up/down constantly at motorway speed.

On the plus side, you will also be have cheated the cruise control, which normally is limited to 112 km/t.

this is the web site, look for supra dash. also you can do it by the gearbox..

Bodilix6 I don't know where you fitted it but mine's working great. its really easy to fit. soldered mine in, I would probably check your wiring diagram.

Yes it was fitted directly behind the dash its self.
