Ewen
Not intended as totally serious....... Im a closet modder, in that my VVTI is relatively standard, but I love what you heavy modders create. Ive had 4 Supes now and never stepped into the void as far as radical engine surgery goes...I like the look of most modded Supes out there and severly desire the odd one or two. I like new ideas and you guys that dare to be different....I also like what ifs...What if a Lexus 3UZ-FE 4.3L V8 was mated with a Supra ? What if it was NA but stroked, GT500 ish....actually, what if it was stroked and had a turbo each bank...OR quad turbo ? Would it be a Jade Goody in a sea of Playgirls, would it be a TRUE Supe keeping to the faith, or would it divide the Supe Nation. Wether or not I had the dosh, or wether it would actually fit or not, or wether any tuner would actually be brave enough to take it on, would it be the most expensive joke in MKIV history or actually quite neat ? When is a Supe not a Supe....they are the black sheep of the Lexus family after all - JTCGT Supes are proud to be endowed with Lexus V6 and V8 hearts....c'mon, let me down gently, is my fantasy total Brighton or is there a light bulb glowing ever so faintly in the darkest corner of a garage near you... JustGav
I know of a supra with a V8 in the US... Don't really see a problem with modding it to that extent, after all for me it is the shape of the car that I love. Hence the reason I've completely transplanted a new whole car into it pretty much...
