lambda?

hey guys

just need some advice! hopfully yous can help ;-) i had a few problems when i first fitted the xs power turbo kit to my 1993 mk4 jdm na witch im sure was the brand new bosh single wire lambda sensors. well i took them both out and refitted 1 of the factory lambda sensors. and joined both signal wires to the 1 sensor so the ecu got the same reading for both sensors. now i had a problem with this as if i left it to idle for abit it would start to lean out to 16.7-17.0 (and i could feel the car sudder slightly) but as soon as i drove away it went back to around 14.7-15.0 so drove fine. but i noticed if i disconect the lambda sensors the AFR was the same as connected? but today i thought i would install the 2nd factory lambda sensor and separate the wires so each wire went to each lambda sensor so just as it was from factory. it seemed to idle perfect so i took it for a drive and the car was hesitating badly and the AFR was jumping all over and i had no power at times. so i had to disconnect both sensors for now. so i thought id ask if you guys know what could cause this? and also is it safe just to leave the lambda sensors disconnected or will that cause problems after a while? also just to add the car ran perfect before i fitted the kit with both sensors connected.

cheers for any help guys ;-)
