Guest ugp
I changed the tunnel on mine, and had it extended 150mm, using a w58 short shifter. Do a search on here for a guy called steve, in one of the r154 tt conversion threads, he extends them for 120 quid.
ksbkrew
and when you change the tunnel , the dead center stay at the same point or it 's been moving?
Guest ugp
Cant say I checked, however my box wouldn't fit with the auto tunnel.
Homer
I don't see how you'll be able to use the auto tunnel with the r154, the shifter mechanism will foul it, even at the front. It would make life much easier to drill out the auto plate and bolt in a new manual one. They're about £65 from Toyota, it's not difficult to do if the box is out.
