JohnK Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 They wanted to charge me, but I stated my consumer rights to them, sent an engineer out within 2 days and swapped out the box. When I spoke to the warranty dept, they were going to bring out an older recon'ed one, which was the v1 model and not the v2 that I had, so I told them to shove it... The hard drive in the system had fried, so I pulled the drive out sent it over to maxtor and they swopped it out under warranty....
