It sounds like it could be flat (this is different to goosed). Has the car been standing a few days without being driven? A mulitmeter will confirm whether it's flat or not. A trickle charger might bring a flat battery back from the dead, but the condition of the battery will dictate whether its new life will be short-lived or not.

You might want to check that the cables are attached to the battery posts properly.

One of the most competitive places to buy a battery is a Toyota dealership, surprisingly. There's a good thread (sticky?) on here about batteries. One of the least competitive in my experience is Halfrauds.

What might be an idea bud is if there's little screws on the top you can open them and check the fluid inside, if low try buying some deionised water and refil, that sorted my old laguna battery out a few year ago.

When a car battery has been discharged to the point when there's not enough power to unlock the door, then they usually don't recover to anything like their original capacity; car batteries don't take kindly to being fully flattened.

Three or four days continuous charge with a trickle charger may improve things a little, but you'll be very lucky if it gets to 50% of the capacity of a new battery.
