SupraP-Z
Something wierd has been happening to my toad alarm recently...its been randomly croaking, like its trying to do something but getting stuck and whirring almost. Its like a buzzing type of sound, it only happens sometimes, dont know what it is. Its not affecting the functional side of things...car still locks/unlocks fine. Sometimes it happens while im driving, most of the time when the car is stationary....it happens when the car is on/off, just really random. Can anyone shed any light on this? Cheers
kjgreen3
How long you had the alarm, if its a number of years it could be the sounder/siren (normally located under bonnet near clutch master cylinder) needs its internal ni-cad battery replacing. If you have the toad alarm users manual it may shed some light on this matter.
SupraP-Z
Well its been on the car since i bought it which was a couple of years back. Got to dig out the old manual out for it tbh. Its definately the siren thats making the buzzing/croaking type noises, its not hard to miss...bloody bright lime green! lol
