Borrow/Hire Crank Pulley Bolt Removal Tool

Recommended Posts

I know some people used to loan out their home made tools, but is anyone else still doing this, as I heard some stopped it because they got mucked about too much.

If anyone is still loaning out the locking tool, please can you PM me. Just thought I would try my luck before going out and getting one off the web or even investing in an impact wrench..

Thanks,

Marcus.

I would deffo return it, no worries there.. What does the Toyota one look like? I have been looking at the aftermarket ones. But I understand if you do decide you dont want to let it out of your sight. I would be the same.

You after any cash for the rental?

Iky's tool worked a treat.. Handy also, as I was able to rest it against the frame so it was a one man job.. Although I do owe him some bolts as they are a bit bent now :( Pulley tool simple and worked a treat also.

Two questions though.. Can I put some lube on the crank shaft when re-fitting the pulley for it going on easier?

Also the belts have different numbers on.. They look the same though..
