Andy-No-Knee
I have tried to use the search button and didnt manage to find what I was after...though I do remember reading a thread on it!!! In short I want to fit an autobox oil temp guage and am wondering about the best place for the sender. Either fit an in line sender from the box to the (first) cooler. Or Drill and tap a hole and fit the sender into the sump of the autobox. So my main question(s) is....which would give the better reading and if I fit it in the sump what exactly would I have to do??...eg.... Remove sump, drill a Xmm hole then tap a tread into it. Or would I need to get a boss welded into the sump then drill that as the sump wall is too thin to hold a thread?
