Scott
My next step with the car is taking off the inlet, injectors, fuel rail etc. Will my tank try to empty itself on the garage floor at this stage? If so, how do I get around this? If it makes any difference I don't think the line will be pressurised as I did a compression check just before removing the battery and I had the efi fuse out. Thanks
Chris Wilson
Clamp off the flexi hose from the filter up to the rail.
Scott
Clamp off the flexi hose from the filter up to the rail. Ideal, that'll be getting replaced anyway so a few mole grip marks won't matter lol. What about when it comes to replacing the feed and returns Chris? Am I best to disconnect from the tank at that point? I have a Bosch pump to go in anyway, I just want a semi logical order of doing things.... But at the same time I'm eager to get the engine bare
Chris Wilson
If you are delving inside the tank just disconnect all pipes at the tank top plate.
