The Raven
They just MOTed the work van, i jump in it...get less than 100 yards down the road and the passinger door swings open and hits a parked car....Now of course they are saying they shut it. I know they didnt as i never used it after it was done! They rolled it off gave me the mot took payment and i drove off. My insurance company say i have not got a leg to stand on and i will have to pay out. Good start to the day.
Havard
Unlucky..!! I would be asking the MOT garage to cough up for the damage but I doubt you will get anywhere. You wouldn't check the doors when you were collecting a vehicle though. I imagine the van didn't have any dash illumination to warn you? H. tooquicktostop
Pay for the damage yourself and save your NCB I have negotiated this for my missus on the "odd occasion" she "misjudged" the parking distances !! On a p reg ford it should be more economical that way

Thus far no phone call i hope against hope they saw the bit of paper and binned it, or drove off with it and it blew away. Dam me for doing the right thing and stopping. I just know how upset id be if someone done it to me
