Peter10654
Hey guys, I've seen into an old Vid from Orido he has built a VVTi with a small Sard K27 Turbo (KKK) and and I like this big respone monster. He used a HKS Fcon Pro but I'm not sure the FCON use still the VVTI. Does anybody knows if the VVTi still works with the Fcon Pro ? Or maybe any other good working ECU solution for the VVTi engine. Thanks Peter

Peter10654
It's a 98 6speed VVTi Thanks a lot... That's the answer I was looking for Perfect... @johnny g: Very nice build Are there any acceleration vids online ? On which rpm you've full boost ? Thanks a lot Peter

Thanks a lot Peter There's not much yet, I only got the car back on Friday However, from "playing", I've got boost by around 3000rpm and then it'll hit 1.4bar around 4500rpm, if my sizing calculations work right. The VVTi works very well, and the drive by wire is VERY responsive.
Peter10654
Sounds very very good Thanks a lot and maybe you can take few vid shoots over the next month Good luck with your car I think I'll go with a very small single arround 600bhp. Something from Borg Warner ! I think with not to much boost the stock engine should handle that Do you have stock cams installed ? I'm not sure at the moment there are another cams for the VVTi available !! Thanks Peter BTW... Where in the UK is 2bartuning located ? Hi Peter, I'd speak to Paul Whiffin from Whifbitz about one of his S362 kits, or a BatMoWheel. The stock engine, if in good condition can take 1.6-1.7bar producing over 700bhp with the right turbo. As for cams, no, I have the BC 272 cams installed in mine. The idle is around 950rpm and it's quite nice, no lump. There are other cams from Tomei (264, but hard to get hold of), Titan (264 and 272, were rare, but now back in stock). The BC ones I have were badged for the 2JZ GE engine, but they're the same, so long as they're for the VVTi. I'd also recommened getting the dual valve springs installed at the time of the cams installation. 2BarTuning are mobile in the UK, and tend to work in and around the south-east. However, I'm sure Ryan would look at going to Germany if you could line up a few cars over there for him - or bring your car here for him to work on. Luxluc does that, from Luxembourg!
