mellonman
Hi people had a great day out at suprapod the weekend but it did highlight a problem with my car when pulling away froms the lights i would not get away well and was always playing catch up. i was power braking to get the best pull aways i could get, it just seemed to be when boosting all was well, but off boost was slow to pick up speed.i had noticed it before but didnt think nothing of it till went the pod and cars where getting a good 2-3 car lengths ahead then i would wind them in. what things can i check ? i get good boost from first turbo but dont really go anywhere. i actually cant get my first turbo to under 0.8 boost. i have hybrids 650 injectores aem fic any ideas

mellonman
it was changed just over a year ago done maybe 10k on it, what are your thoughts nic what makes you say auto box?
Nic
Gearbox was just a thought, you say the boost pressure is okay from the first turbo, so thought it may be the delivery of the power to the wheels through the autobox. Were you going up against BPU TT Supras? You will get slower response from your hybrid turbos compared to the stock ceramic turbos, which could be the simple reason why they're getting the jump on you.
