SupraDan24
Sprayer No.1 is the guy who sprayed my spoiler Sprayer No.2 is the guy who was holding my spoiler for him in his absence, they know each other. I handed over the TRD uprights of my spoiler to a local sprayer on monday (Sprayer No.1), on the basis that it would be done by no later than Friday. Along comes 3pm Friday afternoon and i still hadnt heard anything and he isnt answering the phone. I decided to take a drive up there and find out what was going on, the sprayers was shut but i found a sign taped to the door saying i could pick up and pay for my spoiler down the road from another sprayer !! (sprayer No.2) So off i walk down the road and found the place i was looking for. Sprayer No.1 wasnt there but Sprayer No.2 was. After a quick chat with him it became apparent that he was trying to get me in and out as quick as possible so i thought i'd give the spoiler a proper good going over. Below are some pictures of what i found. I asked him where Sprayer No.1 was as it was him who sprayed it, his reply was that he was at a funeral. I asked him if he had left a receipt for me so that i could take them back on Monday, he said there wasnt one but i could come back Monday and talk to the guy. By now i knew i was being conned, but i need the spoiler back more than i need the £80 for the spray job as i really want to go to SupraPod tomorrow, and cant do that without a spoiler incase it starts to rain and floods my boot. So i begrudingly handed over the money and took my leave on the basis that i would be most certainly be coming back on Monday to resolve it. As i was leaving Sprayer No.2 (his mate btw !!) told me Sprayer No.1 was a crap sprayer, and that if i want to have it re-done, he would do it for me for £60. He then told me "Don't tell him i told you that though", charming i thought !! So anyway, ive got the spoiler on the car now, below are the pics, there not great as i took them on my iPhone and the light is fading. Even still you can see who bad it is. I wonder what excuse i'm going to get, i'm willing to bet the £80 i've already spent that it will be "It reacted with my paint " http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad186/Lankoss/IMG_0123.jpg[/img]"] http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad186/Lankoss/IMG_0122.jpg[/img]"] http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad186/Lankoss/IMG_0121.jpg[/img]"]
LolaBoost94
That guy is CRAP! Sorry to see ya having to pay for it but at least the other guy will, so he says, do a better job. Sprayer No. 1 should get kicked in the nuts haha
gjp
Looks like a paint reaction to me. Once it starts there is nothing you can do until it dry's and start all over again. If he had done it properly and rubbed it down instead of giving it a light rub down and a blow over it would not have happened in the first place. And £80 for a blow over he was ripping you off. Ark
For such small pieces, do it yourself. It's not that hard and it's rewarding to see good results.

Rob
I'd have not payed and left it there. You don't need a spoiler for 1/4 mile runs anyway.

SupraDan24
I needed the spoiler on incase it started to rain while i was driving, water would egress through the holes in my boot. He's obviously not primed it, otherwise he would not have had a paint reaction so i'll be bringing that up on monday. Rest assured, as of monday he'll either be re-doing it for free or giving me my money back, i'm confident of that much.
