Tee from China
Thought it time for another quiz and this one is names manufacturers use or have used for naming their car models (well mostly) I'm sure some will cheat and just Google whilst others will find more/different than I have chosen for answers. The 'senior' members on here might find this easier than some of you 'young bucks' but hope you all enjoy anyway:eyebrows: 1. Name 4 cars with animal names 2. In a fight this car is the winner 3. 4 cars with names of swords 4. 4 cars with ‘noble blood’ 5. Models with a musical theme? 6. 4 more with animal names? 7. 3 reptilian models? 8. Short male? 9. 4 named after insects? 10. 4 named after cities 11. 4 Greek lettered 12. 2 Mythical creatures? 13. Birds of a feather perhaps? 14. Odd one out? 100, 200, 400, 600, 800, 900 15. Sporty cars? 16. More cities? 17. Underground transport? 18. Lemonade soft drink? 19. Real ‘bad boy’? 20. Rugged Adventure? 21. The Wild, Wild West? 22. 2 Famous British cities? 23. Or 6 British regions uses as model names? 24. No Directions Necessary? 25. Aristocratic? 26. Aristocratic and French? 27. Secret Agents? 28. Yet more animal names? 29. Name three models that use the numbers 300 30. Finally one oddball! We all know that TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development but what of STI, HFP, FPV or SVT? Tee from China
OK, just to mention that these are model names not manufacturers, so Jaguar, Panther and Lancaster for instance are not models and likewise California is a state and thus not a city! Chris Wilson
There was a car called an Excalibur in the seventies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excalibur_(automobile) So add that to the sword listing. Cortina is a place in northern Italy isn't it? Hence the Capri naming as well... Cider drinkers pronounce it Zummerset, it's spelt Somerset though Lancia Dilambda http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Dilambda
Stephendjb
Cortina is a skiing resort (If I remember correctly) but I wouldn't use it as an answer related to sporty.
